a funny episode of his reality show mentioned this, too bad he was hooked up to a heart monitoring device for possible heart problems. This sort of thing just might be one cause, or not...

If you seen the Ep you saw/heard the said Heart monitor going off almost constantly during his "casting" session(for the books mascot I guess). Gene had to try to pass off the pop can sized(within a thick case) device as first a 'gameboy', then a pager.
